Head to the Garden of the Gods park for up-close views of stunning red rock formations and glimpses of the towering Pikes Peak in the distance. For even more incredible views, drive about an hour southwest of the city to the Royal Gorge, a scenic canyon where you can walk across a pedestrian bridge suspended 950 feet above the Arkansas River.
