Completely Motoring, the company behind four Gloucestershire-based dealerships including the Completely Suzuki franchise at Staverton has confirmed that it has entered administration alongside the multi-franchise motorcycle chain.
Announced in a social media post on Friday, October 11, the joint administrators are now urging anyone interested in purchasing the £70 million turnover group which includes Thunder Road Motorcycles Limited in Bridgend and John Wilkins engineering business to come forward – with the two- and four-wheeled businesses collectively employing 165 people and housing over 1,500 bikes across 21 showrooms.
Fears for the future of the business emerged online on Friday, October 4, when the wider group closed for a stock audit. Prior to last Friday’s announcement, a company spokesperson had confirmed to media that the company had filed a notice of intent to enter administration.
