Aston Martin Works, the dealership in Newport Pagnell owned by the carmaker, is looking to sell one of the most significant collections of Aston Martin Zagato models.
This privately-owned, four-car collection showcases Aston Martin’s recent collaborations with the famed Italian design house Zagato including some of the rarest and most sought-after models in the brand’s history.
The collection features three versions of the limited-edition Vanquish Zagato – the Volante, Shooting Brake, and Speedster – alongside a hyper-rare DBS GT Zagato.
Together, these cars represent a near-complete anthology of Aston Martin’s partnership with Zagato.
Aston Martin Works continues to operate out of the brand’s historic original Newport Pagnell facility as a new car dealership and service centre and a global heritage sales, service and restoration facility.
The Vanquish Zagato series made its debut in concept form in 2016 at the prestigious Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este at Lake Como, sparking huge demand that led to a limited production run.
The first model, the Vanquish Zagato Coupe, was soon followed by the Volante, Shooting Brake, and Speedster variants, bringing the total number of cars across all body styles to just 325 units.
Among these, the Vanquish Zagato Speedster is the rarest, with only 28 cars ever built. The Volante and Shooting Brake observed a production limit of 99 cars each, as did the original Coupe.
All are based on the previous generation Aston Martin Vanquish S, featuring a 600PS naturally aspirated V12 engine paired with the smooth Touchtronic III transmission.
The crown jewel of the collection is the ultra-rare DBS GT Zagato, created as part of the DBZ Centenary Collection, a tribute to Zagato’s 100-year anniversary.
Launched in 2019, this two-car set included both the DBS GT Zagato and the DB4 GT Zagato Continuation, with only 19 pairs produced. With a price tag of £6 million plus local taxes, this was Aston Martin’s most valuable new car offering at the time.
A standout feature of the DBS GT Zagato is its innovative use of configurable carbon and metal 3D-printed interior finishes, a world-first in automotive design.
Aston Martin Works sales manager Justin Pearce said: “Rarity and design style are, of course, synonymous with Aston Martin but these characteristics are taken to a whole new level by the suite of sports cars we see here.”
