Affordable Art Fair NYC returns for its 37th edition this March 19-23 with 78 galleries from New York, the US, and around the world. When visitors enter the doors of the Metropolitan Pavilion in Chelsea, they’ll find thousands of one-of-a-kind artworks all priced from $100 to $12,000.
The goal of Affordable Art Fair is to make the art world approachable to everyone by giving visitors confidence in their own taste. Whether you know exactly what you’re looking for, or you’re coming in with just a vague idea, Affordable Art Fair will help guide you to that perfect piece.
This spring, visitors can experience the fair in many different ways, with unique programs happening each day, creating fun and welcoming environments to shop for your next favorite artwork!
The fair kicks off Wednesday, March 19, with a buzzing crowd of art lovers and eager gallerists at Private View, an evening intended for the most intentional collectors who want the first chance at the artworks exhibited.
Thursday evening, the fair will host a donation-for-entry event in partnership with Materials for the Arts, where visitors will be granted entry in exchange for new or slightly used art supplies.
Friday night, the energy ramps up with Art After Dark, thanks to partner Wexel Art. Anyone who attends Art After Dark this spring will have the opportunity to enter a drawing for a chance to win one of three exclusive prints created by an artist from each of the Fellowship galleries. Each print will be set in an acrylic frame, courtesy of Wexel Art.
On Saturday, learn about the artworks directly from the artists through the Artist Is In program. Finally, the whole family is invited on Sunday morning to enjoy some snacks, games, and crafts during Family Hours.
With so much happening this spring at Affordable Art Fair NYC, there’s truly something for every kind of art lover.
