Learn how customer experience technology is transforming motor retail at Automotive Management Live

Concentrix, Salesforce and Omoda will demonstrate how customer experience technology (CX) is helping automotive retailers transform the customer experience as part of this year’s Automotive Management Live.

The session will help retailers benchmark their own systems, technology and processes against examples from those that are already incorporating new artificial intelligence, (AI), automation processes into dealership legacy systems to transform the customer journey.

The event for car dealers, held on November 13 at the National Exhibition Centre (NEC) near Birmingham, is a combination of an exhibition and a conference, and there will be over 50 innovative exhibitors under one roof on the day, as well as over 30 speakers to share their perspective and best practice ideas across four dedicated Digital & Technology, Sales, Aftersales and Strategy theatres.

Attendance to Automotive Management Live is free of charge for dealers and OEMs who register in advance.

Tony PattersonTony Patterson, managing director for automotive and mobility at Concentrix (pictured left), the global technology and services provider, explained that all dealer groups and OEMs are somewhere between selecting, migrating and optimising their systems and CX technology, AI, automation and digitising systems are all key areas that can deliver wide ranging benefits.

He said: “The majority of dealer groups and original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) have their customer-facing technology largely in place, but the focus is now on back-end systems to support customers and internal teams with sales and aftersales.

“Retailers need to make sure not just that they have the best technology, but that it’s supporting customer-facing teams.”

On the panel, Rob Bailey, chief technology officer, at newly launched brand Omoda UK will share his perspective on how it aims to position the customer (in this case its dealer network) at the heart of Omoda’s CX tech strategy, taking very much a ‘ground up’ approach to help navigate the challenging landscape of different IT systems.

Matthew Simpkins, regional vice president at Salesforce, will explore how the many legacy systems they see are no longer able to meet modern CX demands and why, alongside having the right data strategy in place, it’s so important to get this right as a key condition for success.
