Residencies, Workshops, & Fellowships

Bryn Du – 2025 Artist in Residence Program
With the aim of enhancing local arts engagement in Granville, Ohio, Bryn Du offers US-based artists of all disciplines $2,000 stipends for eight-week residencies and $3,000 for 12 weeks. The fee to apply is $15.

Corning Museum of GlassBlack, Indigenous, & People of Color Residency
Artists who identify as Black, Indigenous, or people of color can spend five weeks in Western New York exploring new directions in glassmaking or expanding on their current work. Transportation, room and board, and a supply budget are provided.

Dedalus Foundation – Senior Fellowship in Art History
This program supports art historians, critics, and curators pursuing projects related to painting, sculpture, and allied arts from the 20th century. Stipends vary with need, with a $30,000 maximum.

Digital Arts Resource Centre (DARC) – Indigenous Residency Program
This residency for mid-career Indigenous artists in the Ottawa-Gatineau region welcomes proposals for works in film, video, animation, web-based art, sound art, AR/VR, interactive projects, and media installation. It includes a $2,000 (CAD) artist fee, $500 (CAD) for a presentation, and more.

EFA Project Space – SHIFT: A Residency for Arts Workers
From January to July 2025, six NYC arts workers who maintain an art practice will share studio space, artist honoraria, and production fees; participate in peer critiques and a group exhibition; and more.

Yaddo Artist Residencies
Professional creative artists working in the visual arts, choreography, literature, music, and other disciplines can apply for residencies in Saratoga Springs, New York. Modest grants are available. Application fees are $35–40.

Palm Beach Atlantic University – Hispanic Heritage Festival Call for Proposals
To celebrate the panoply of Hispanic artistic culture, the festival invites proposals for presentations, scholarship, and performances relating to the visual arts, music, and theater of Spain, Portugal, Latin America, and the diaspora.

AICA International – Incentive Prize for Young Art Critics
Three early to mid-career art critics from around the world will receive $250–$1,000 cash prizes for essays. First place will be invited to read their essay via Zoom at the AICA-Int. Congress Becoming Machine, Resisting the Artificial. Art in the Present Tense in Romania in November.

Arts Gowanus – Public Art Open Call
Seven artists will each receive budgets of $75,000–$400,000 to create public sculptural artworks along Brooklyn’s Gowanus Canal that reflect the neighborhood’s history, culture, and geography.

Barn Raiser – Call for Pitches: “Reimagining Rural Cartographies”
Barn Raiser seeks proposals for arts and culture stories about creativity and social change in Midwestern rural communities and small towns, with a focus on reimagined or nontraditional forms of cartography. Accepted projects receive $1,000.

Grants & Awards

AXS Film Fund
Independent documentary filmmakers and nonfiction new media creators of color living with disabilities can apply for up to $10,000 to assist in finishing projects at any stage of production.

New York State Council on the Arts
NYSCA funds creative commissions for individual artists across New York State through non-profit fiscal sponsors. Grant awards are $10,000; fiscal sponsors may retain a maximum of $500 for administrative costs.

Pollock-Krasner Foundation Grant
Visual artists practicing painting, sculpture, and works on paper (including printmaking) can apply for funding of up to $50,000. The grant amount is determined by the artist’s individual circumstances.

RedLine Contemporary Art Center – 2024 INSITE Fund
Grants of $5,000–$10,000 are available for public-facing visual arts projects that take place beyond the studio, museum, art center, or traditional gallery setting within a 115-mile radius of Denver, Colorado.
