Access policies
Even with an eligible card, you’ll still have to abide by certain lounge access rules:
-
Enter within three hours of departure on your boarding pass (exceptions for connecting flights).
-
No access after you’ve landed. (Select lounges outside the U.S. may allow entry upon arrival.)
Guests
American Express used to allow cardholders complimentary lounge access for themselves and up to two guests, but crowding issues forced a change. Now there are restrictions on those who can bring guests without charge:
-
Centurion Card holders can bring two guests at no additional charge.
-
Corporate Platinum Card holders can bring two guests at no additional charge.
-
Those with eligible cards who have spent $75,000 in a calendar year can bring two guests without charge:
-
The Business Platinum Card® from American Express.
-
The Platinum Card® from American Express.
-
If you don’t have these cards or don’t meet these spending requirements, you also can pay for a one-time entry to the lounge for your guests:
-
Children under 18 are not allowed.
Anyone using a Delta credit card to gain entry or those wanting to bring more than two guests at a time also can take advantage of this daily guest rate.
